Open Arms for Refugees Book Drop

In November we reached out to Open Arms for Refugees, an organization that helps integrate refugees placed in and around the town of Ossining, NY. On November 28th, we finalized and delivered 255 books for 17 refugee children from Afghanistan and Colombia. This was one of our more challenging drops as the age range of the children was 1-19, and we were advised that the reading levels of the children varied significantly. We hope these books brightened the holiday season for some of our newest neighbors.
